Hi everyone! Here's some great news - my T.V. pilot, "Catalyst" was one of only 9 finalists to get selected at the Skway Film Festival! Judging for the teleplay competition was headed by Leslie Cohen, V.P. of Programming at HBO. So I'm really happy to be a finalist, picked by such an esteemed judge. THAT'S RIGHT! Yet another award for "Safe House", this time from the Las Vegas Screenplay Contest. I'm enjoying winning script contests. However, I'm now planning to shift focus a little and write somethign new. Wihile "Safe House" and "The Realm of the Stones" have had a decent festival and contest run, I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things. The California Film Awards has been around since 2009. A screenplay competition is hosted every year and supports the craft of screenwriting by discovering and recognizing important new talent. Top screenplays in the competition are awarded based on the quality and originality of the work.
